Welcome to 8 HRS!

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services provided by 8 HRS LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) through our website, mobile application, or any other platform we may offer our services on (“Service” or “Services”). By using our Services, you (“Customer” or “you”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Services Provided

We offer on-demand services in the following categories:

  • Cleaning Services: Includes but is not limited to home, office, commercial, and auto cleaning. 8 HRS LLC currently requires a 24 hour notice for all cleaning services. A Representative may work up to 5 hours for this service.
  • General Services: Includes a variety of other services, as described on our website or app, which may include assemblies, deliveries, and personal assistance. 8 HRS LLC currently requires a 2 hour notice for all General Assistance services. A Representative may work up to 5 hours for this service.
  • Roadside Assistance: Includes but is not limited to tire changes, jump starts, and fuel delivery. Roadside assistance includes delivery of up to 5 gallons of gasoline (or diesel, as applicable). 8 HRS LLC currently requires a 1 hour notice for all Roadside Assistance services. A Representative may work up to 5 hours for this service.
  • Modifications: We reserve the right to change these services and our hours of availability at any time without prior notice.  All changes will be effective upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

2.  Photo Documentation

As part of our service process, we take photographs of the service area before and after each job. These photos serve as a record of the condition of the property and are used for:

  • Documenting the completion and quality of the service.
  • Protecting both the client and our contractors in the event of a dispute.
  • Client Acknowledgment and Agreement:
  • By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

1. Photos will be taken of the service area before and after the work is performed.

2. These photos may be used solely for the purposes of service verification, dispute resolution, and quality assurance.

3. Photos will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

  • If you do not consent to photo documentation, you must notify us in writing prior to the commencement of any services.

2. No Refund Policy

  • General Policy: All payments made for services rendered are non-refundable. Once Hours are purchased, payments are final.
  • Service Completion: In the event that services are rendered, no refunds will be issued, even if you are dissatisfied with the service. If there is a specific issue with the service provided, we encourage you to reach out to us directly to discuss potential resolutions (such as redoing the service or addressing any concerns).
  • Selling Hours: You always have the option of selling your hours back to 8 HRS LLC at a $15 rate per hour sold (e.g. 4 hours sold would equate to a $60 credit). 
  • Exceptions: In cases of major service failures, we may consider offering a partial refund or credit at our sole discretion. Refunds will only be considered if a service is canceled by us or cannot be completed due to our fault (e.g., service provider no-show or incapacity).

3. Booking and Payments

  • Service Request: To book a service, you must provide accurate information, including your location, service type, and any relevant details. As listed on our website we require a 24 hour notice for all Cleaning requests, a 2 hour notice for all General Assistance requests, and a 1 hour notice for all Roadside Assistance requests. We will make reasonable efforts to fulfill your service request but do not guarantee availability. 8 HRS LLC contractors are not obligated to stay longer than 5 hours at a time for cleaning and general assistance services, and 5 hours for roadside assistance services. In the event you require a longer service increment 8 HRS LLC will make reasonable efforts to provide another contractor and fulfill the request but do not guarantee availability. 8 HRS LLC deducts time in 15 minute increments, rounding to the next 15 minute mark if time extends past it.
  • Payment: Payments are required before or at the time of booking, and you agree to pay for the service at the rates provided at the time of booking. You also agree to fund your Store Credit* balance before any items or products are purchased on your behalf with our services. We accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and other online payment methods.
  • Pricing: Prices are pre determined for services that are displayed on our website. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice, but any changes will only apply to future purchases. 

4. User Responsibilities

  • Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate and complete information when booking services. This includes accurate contact information, location details, and specific service requirements.
  • Service Access: You must ensure that access is provided to the location where the service will be performed. Failure to provide access or if the service location is deemed unsafe will result in subtracted time from your account balance.
  • Compliance with Laws: You agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules when using our services, including but not limited to safety protocols, traffic laws, and building codes.

5. Service Providers and Liability

  • Independent Contractors: The service providers dispatched to perform your requested services are independent contractors. We are not responsible for any damages, injuries, or loss caused by the actions of third-party service providers.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from the use of our services, unless the damage is caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 8 HRS LLC, its affiliates, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of the services or your violation of these Terms.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation by You: You may cancel or reschedule your service at any time. If you cancel within the allowable time frame, you may receive a partial return in Hours or a rescheduled service date.
  • Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a service due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather conditions, service provider unavailability). In such cases, you will be notified promptly, and we will offer you a new service date or a full return of Hours if the service cannot be rescheduled.

7. User Content

By using our services, you may submit or upload content, such as photos, feedback, or reviews. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to use it for marketing, promotional, or operational purposes. You agree not to upload any content that is defamatory, illegal, or infringes on any intellectual property rights.

8. Call and Voicemail Recording

By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to the recording of phone calls and voicemails for the purpose of improving our services, quality control, customer support, and training. In some cases, you may hear a message notifying you that the call is being recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, please hang up or contact us through another method.

9. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from the use of these Terms or services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lexington/Fayette, Kentucky. 

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time. All changes will be effective upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

12. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

13. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and [Your Company Name] regarding the use of our services. Any previous agreements or representations are superseded by these Terms.
