Welcome to 8 HRS!

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the services provided by 8 HRS LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”) through our website, mobile application, or any other platform we may offer our services on (“Service” or “Services”) within Fayette County, Lexington, KY. By using our Services, you (“Customer” “Client” or “you”) agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

  1. Services Provided

We offer on-demand services in the following categories, exclusively within Fayette County, Lexington, KY:

  • Residential Maintenance & Cleaning Services: Includes but is not limited to Window Cleaning, Dusting Services, Solar Panel Cleaning, Gutter Cleaning, Dryer Vent Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Leaf Removal, Trash Bin Cleaning.
  • Commercial Maintenance & Cleaning Services: Includes a variety of other services, as described on our website or app, which may include Window Cleaning, Dusting Services, Solar Panel Cleaning, Pressure Washing, Leaf Removal. 
  • Diagnosis & Referral: Diagnosis, and/or a referral for any service or project that a client may schedule a representative to look at and estimate. This requires 8 HRS LLC to take a reasonable amount of time to either price in Hours or Refer to another business or contractor. 8 HRS LLC will do its absolute best to estimate any and all requests. Regardless of the issue or project, we guarantee at the very least a referral to a leading professional and an estimate from them.
  • Availability: Currently 8 HRS LLC has a business availability from 8am-6pm (Eastern Standard Time).

Modifications: We reserve the right to change these services and our hours of availability at any time without prior notice. All changes will be effective upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

  1. Photo Documentation

As part of our service process, we take photographs of the service area before and after each job. These photos serve as a record of the condition of the property and are used for:

  • Documenting the completion and quality of the service.
  • Protecting both the client and our representatives in the event of a dispute.

Client Acknowledgment and Agreement:
By using our services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Photos will be taken of the service area before and after the work is performed.
  • These photos may be used solely for the purposes of service verification, dispute resolution, and quality assurance.
  • Photos will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law.

If you do not consent to photo documentation, you must notify us in writing prior to the commencement of any services via email to support@buy8hrs.com.

  1. Refund Policy
  • General Policy: All payments made for services rendered are non-refundable. Once Hours are purchased, payments are final.
  • Service Completion: In the event that services are rendered, no refunds will be issued, even if you are dissatisfied with the service. If there is a specific issue with the service provided, we encourage you to reach out to us directly to discuss potential resolutions (such as redoing the service or addressing any concerns).
  • Selling Hours: You always have the option of selling your unused hours back to 8 HRS LLC at a $20 rate per hour sold (e.g., 4 hours sold would equate to a $80 credit). You may do this through our “Sell Hours” Form on our website. There is no limit to how many times or how many hours you can sell. Processing this return may take up to 48 hours. We reserve the right to approve, decline, or modify any and all requests through our “Sell Hours” function.
  • Exceptions: In cases of major service failures, we may consider offering a partial or full refund. Refunds will be considered if a service is canceled by us or cannot be completed due to our fault (e.g., service provider no-show or incapacity). 
  1. Booking and Service Calculator:
  • Service Request: To book a service, you must provide accurate information, including your location within Fayette County, Lexington, KY, service type, and any relevant details. 
  • Notice Requirements: Our current scheduling policy requires a 24-hour notice for Residential services, 72-hours for Commercial services, and 2-hours for Diagnosis/Referrals, though please note there may be days when this isn’t possible due to pre-scheduled events.
  • Time Increments: 8 HRS LLC deducts time in 15-minute increments, rounding to the next 15-minute mark if time extends past it.
  • Longer Service: In the event any service details are inaccurate and your service requires more time than expected, we will make our best efforts to complete the service based on our schedule, your balance of hours, or prepayment if it is an One-Time service. Any extra time due to this error will be deducted from your balance accordingly or require a prepayment on site to complete the remainder of the extra service information.
  • Multiple Representatives: If more than one representative is available, the amount of hours deducted would multiply, (e.g., 2 representatives for 1 hour = 2 hours deducted), billed as a 2-hour service, with a scheduled service duration of 1 hour.
  • Estimate Service Time (Calculated Time): Please note, our estimated service time calculator provides an approximate duration for individual and combined services. This time includes the time it takes to travel to the property and complete the actual service. We automatically add “0.50” Hours or 30 minutes for an estimated travel time of each service, not including the amount of time it takes to complete the service. Actual time may vary based on various factors specific to each job and location. Longer durations might be necessary depending on the complexity or unexpected challenges of the service. Longer durations may be deducted if more representatives are required for the service. For Example: If a service is calculated at “2.75 HRS” and 2 representatives are requested, this may calculate an expected service time of “1.5 HRS”, if this service were to take the entire 1.5 HRS with 2 representatives, we would then deduct a total of “3 HRS”. This is still considered “Calculated Time”, as it pertains to our service calculator estimates. In the event we take less time, the amount of time we actually served will be deducted from your hours balance on your account. This only applies to clients with pre-purchased hours. If time takes longer than expected, we will complete the service and only deduct the calculated scheduled time as long as it is within the details you originally specified. If you would like us to continue to service or complete other tasks we will need to confirm your account hours balance, and/or confirm with our schedule that we have the availability to do so. We may ask you to schedule another service and time through our website, or do it for you upon request, this will also be noted as a Diagnosis/Referral. Anything that was not listed in the details of our service calculator will not be completed.
  • One-Time Service Function: Our One-Time service calculator works virtually the same way as our original “HRS calculator”. This calculator also automatically adds “0.50” Hours or 30 minutes for travel time of each service, as well as a “0.25” or 15 minutes to the total price that allows us to confirm the dimensions, details, count, and soil level of any service that we will be completing. Any differing information will be recorded and addressed on site, before or after service completion depending if the property owner, representative, or a designated individual will be present. If not, we will continue the service to the exact details listed and have a record of all before and after photos. These services will be honored for the exact details provided through our calculator. We will use all estimated time to complete the service. If time takes longer than expected, you will not be charged anymore than the original price. We will complete the service for your calculated scheduled time as long as it is within the details you originally specified. Anything that was not listed in the details of our service calculator will not be completed.
  • One-Time Services: Clients are charged only the estimated hours purchased, as calculated by our scheduler, regardless of actual time taken. If a service exceeds the estimated time, no additional charges apply. One-Time Services for standard cleaning are charged at $101/hour (residential) or $114/hour (commercial). For diagnosis/referral of current services or larger projects, we charge $94.33, this is a 0.25-hour base assessment and estimated time via our calculator. If a service exceeds the estimate, no additional charges apply; we complete it within the quoted price, provided details match your submission. Unlisted tasks require separate booking.
  • Bulk Hours Packages: Clients receive the same protection—estimated hours are deducted from your account as scheduled. If a service takes less time than estimated, only the actual hours worked will be deducted, preserving your remaining hours. If it takes more time, no additional hours are deducted beyond the original estimate.
  • Diagnosis/Referral: Diagnosis or Referral services are automatically calculated at a base rate of 0.25 hours (15 minutes). This service includes measuring and scheduling any of our current cleaning and maintenance offerings or assessing larger projects you’d like addressed. We will conduct this remotely or in person, depending on the scope and details of your project. Following the initial diagnosis, it may take up to 48 hours—though often sooner—to provide a precise estimate of time, equipment, and costs for our services, or to arrange a referral to a trusted professional for specialized work. This ensures a thorough, tailored plan for your needs. For referrals to third-party professionals, 8 HRS, LLC may receive a commission of 5-8% from the referred contractor, at no additional cost to you. This supports our all-in-one service experience.
  • Pricing: Prices are predetermined for services that are displayed on our website. Our packages are at a slightly lower rate than our One-Time services. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time without prior notice, but any changes will only apply to future purchases.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion, including for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or misconduct, with notice where feasible. Pre-paid hours will be credited or returned per our Refund Policy.
  1. Payment Methods and Processes
    We offer a variety of payment options to accommodate your needs for both one-time services and hours packages. Accepted payment methods include Google Pay, Apple Pay, credit or debit cards, direct bank transfers, Affirm financing, check payments, and cash payments. All services and packages are prepaid unless otherwise specified below.

One-Time Services
For one-time services, payment is required in advance or at the time of service, depending on the selected method:

  • Google Pay, Apple Pay, Credit/Debit Cards, Direct Bank Transfers, and Affirm Financing: Payment must be completed at the time of booking through our online checkout process.
  • Cash and Check Payments: If cash or check is selected at checkout, payment must be received within 24 hours of booking or at the time of service, whichever comes first. Failure to submit payment by this deadline will result in cancellation of the scheduled service. Upon selecting cash or check, a representative will contact you via the phone number provided in your account to verify the scheduled date and confirm the payment process.

Hours Packages
Hours packages are prepaid at the time of purchase and are subject to the following conditions:

  • All Payment Methods: Full payment is due within 24 hours of purchase. Accepted methods include Google Pay, Apple Pay, credit or debit cards, direct bank transfers, Affirm financing, checks, and cash.
  • Cash and Check Payments for Hours Packages: Unlike one-time services, hours packages do not allow for payment at the time of service. If cash or check is selected, payment must be received within 24 hours of purchase. Failure to complete payment within this timeframe will result in cancellation of the package order.
  • Verification Process: Upon purchase of an hours package, a representative will contact you using the account information provided to verify the transaction and ensure accuracy. This call is part of our commitment to secure and reliable service delivery.

General Payment Terms

  • All payments must be made in U.S. dollars.
  • For cash or check payments, arrangements for delivery or pickup will be coordinated during the verification call.
  • We reserve the right to cancel any service or package order if payment is not received according to the terms outlined above.
  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our Refund Policy (see section 3).
  1. Service Providers and Liability
  • Independent Contractors: The service providers dispatched to perform requested services are independent contractors. We are not responsible for any damages, injuries, or loss caused by the actions of third-party service providers.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, loss of data, or loss of profits, arising from the use of our services, unless the damage is caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 8 HRS LLC, its affiliates, employees, and service providers from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your use of the services or your violation of these Terms.
  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling
  • Cancellation by You: You may cancel or reschedule your service at any time. If you cancel within a reasonable time frame (2 hours minimum), you may receive a partial return in Hours, but will be required to reschedule the service through our scheduler again.
  • Cancellation by Us: We may cancel or reschedule due to factors beyond our control, including but not limited to weather, provider unavailability, equipment issues, or emergencies. You’ll be notified promptly and offered a rescheduled date or full return of hours/credit if we cannot fulfill the service within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Termination: We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at our discretion, including for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or client misconduct, with notice where feasible. Pre-paid hours will be credited or returned per our Refund Policy.
  • Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures to perform services due to events beyond our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, government actions, or widespread utility outages. Affected services will be rescheduled or credited at our discretion.
  1. User Content

By using our services, you may submit or upload content, such as photos, feedback, or reviews to our company email support@buy8hrs.com. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it for marketing, promotional, or operational purposes. You agree not to upload any content that is defamatory, illegal, or infringes on any intellectual property rights.

  • Intellectual Property: All content, logos, and tools provided by 8 HRS, LLC (including our website, scheduler, and calculator) are our property and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written consent, except for personal use related to booking our services.
  1. Call and Voicemail Recording

By using our services, you acknowledge and consent to the recording of phone calls and voicemails for the purpose of improving our services, quality control, customer support, and training. In some cases, you may hear a message notifying you that the call is being recorded. If you do not wish to be recorded, please hang up or contact us through another method.

      10. Use of Client-Provided Water and Electricity

For certain services provided by 8 HRS LLC, including but not limited to:

  • Window Cleaning
  • Solar Panel Cleaning
  • Pressure Washing
  • Gutter Cleaning
  • Dumpster Cleaning

We require the use of water and electricity at your property. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and consent to the following:

  • Utility Use: We will use the water and electricity available at your premises solely for the purpose of executing the agreed-upon services. If utilities are not available, we will do our absolute best to use our resources to complete the service(s) but cannot guarantee completion.
  • No Data Collection: We do not collect, record, or analyze any data related to your utility consumption during our service delivery. Our use is strictly operational.
  • Availability: You are responsible for ensuring that adequate water and electricity are available for our use at the time of service. If these utilities are not available in a suitable form or quantity, we may not be able to perform the service as scheduled, and alternative arrangements will need to be discussed.
  • Efficient Use: We commit to using your utilities in an efficient manner, aiming to minimize waste. However, any issues or damages related to your utility infrastructure are not our responsibility unless caused directly by our negligence.
  • Notification: Our team will notify you before using your utilities for service, ensuring transparency in our operations.
  • Service Limitations: While these services typically require utilities, there might be exceptions where usage is minimal or not required due to specific service delivery methods or conditions.

By contracting for the services listed above, you agree to allow 8 HRS LLC to use your water and electricity under the terms described herein. If you have any concerns or special conditions regarding the use of your utilities, please communicate these to us before the service begins.

      11. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

      12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Before pursuing legal action, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation or mediation, unless urgent circumstances require otherwise. Any disputes arising from the use of these Terms or services will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Lexington/Fayette, Kentucky.

      13. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, update, or revise these Terms at any time. All changes will be effective upon posting on this page. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.

      14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

     15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies referenced herein, constitute the entire agreement between you and 8 HRS LLC regarding the use of our services. Any previous agreements or representations are superseded by these Terms.
