Window Cleaning
What is a Window Pane?
A window pane is a single individual glass section within a window frame. Count these before entering them in the calculator. Example: If you have a window divided into four glass sections by mullions, that’s four window panes. For a standard double-hung window with two sashes, you would count each glass panel as one pane, so four panes if both sashes have two glass sections each.
What is a Story?
A story is a single floor level within your home or building. One that people can stand and walk on.
What is a Screen?
A window screen is a mesh barrier that fits over a window that allows air to pass through while keeping any insects or debris from entering inside.
Why Schedule Window Cleaning?
Regular window cleaning enhances the aesthetic appeal of your property, allows more natural light into your home or office, and can prevent the deterioration of window frames and seals by removing dirt and grime. It also improves visibility and can help maintain energy efficiency by ensuring windows are clean for optimal performance.
Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning
What is Square Feet?
Square footage is a unit of measurement for an area. This represents the amount of space within a flat surface, and can be calculated by multiplying the length of a space by its width. Example: If your apartment is 20 feet by 25 feet, the area to be cleaned would be 20 * 25 = 500 square feet.
What is Soil Level?
Soil Level refers to the degree of dirt, grime, or staining in the space you need cleaned. It can be categorized as: Light: Minimal dirt or stains, requiring less effort. Medium: Moderate buildup of dirt or grime, needing standard cleaning. Heavy: Significant dirt, grease, or stains, requiring intensive deep cleaning. Example: A kitchen with grease splattered on cabinets and walls would be considered Heavy Soil Level.
Why Schedule Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning?
Scheduling a Move-In/Move-Out Cleaning ensures your space is thoroughly cleaned and ready for its next occupant, whether you’re moving in or out. Our deep cleaning tackles everything from inside cabinets to baseboards, ensuring a fresh, welcoming environment. It saves you time, meets landlord or buyer expectations, and provides peace of mind with a spotless property.
Solar Panel Cleaning
What is considered one Solar Panel?
A solar panel usually has around 60 solar cells and is usually around 5.5 feet x 3 feet. Example: Imagine a typical residential solar panel installation. Each panel on your roof, which is about the size of a door (5.5 feet by 3 feet), counts as one solar panel. If you have an array of 12 such panels, you would enter “12” in the calculator.
What is a Story?
A story is a single floor level within your home or building. One that people can stand and walk on. This can be listed as “1” if solar panels are on ground.
Why Schedule Solar Panel Cleaning?
Solar panel cleaning ensures that your panels operate at maximum efficiency by removing dirt, dust, and debris that can block sunlight. This leads to better energy production, potentially higher savings on your energy bills, and extends the lifespan of your solar panels by preventing damage from accumulated grime.
Gutter Cleaning
What is Linear Feet?
A linear foot is a measurement that is equal to 12 inches, or one foot. Clarification: Linear feet measure length in a straight line. If your house is 50 feet long on one side, that’s 50 linear feet of gutter on that side.
What is my Linear Footage?
Example: For a house that’s 2,000 square feet, dividing by 10 gives you a rough estimate of 200 linear feet. Remember, this is very approximate because the actual length of gutters can vary with the house’s shape and design. A more accurate measure would involve physically measuring the gutters.
What is a Story?
A story is a single floor level within your home or building. One that people can stand and walk on.
Why Schedule Gutter Cleaning?
Regular gutter cleaning prevents water damage to your home by ensuring proper drainage. It avoids issues like overflow, which can lead to foundation erosion, roof leaks, or pest infestations. Clean gutters also protect the structural integrity of your building and can prevent costly repairs.
Dryer Vent Cleaning
What is Dryer Vent Cleaning?
A dryer vent cleaning is the process of removing lint and debris from the dryer vent and ductwork. This is a regular maintenance task that help improve your dryers efficiency and reduce the risk of a fire. Example: Imagine your dryer has been running less efficiently, and clothes are taking longer to dry. The vent, which leads from the back of your dryer outside, has accumulated lint over time. Cleaning this vent involves removing the lint to ensure air can flow freely, reducing fire risk and improving dryer performance.
Why Schedule Dryer Vent Cleaning?
Cleaning your dryer vents reduces the risk of lint-related fires, which are a common household hazard. It also improves the efficiency of your dryer, leading to lower energy costs, quicker drying times, and potentially extending the life of your appliance by preventing overheating.
Pressure Washing
What is Flat Square Feet?
Mark as “0” if it is not applicable for your needs. Flat square footage is a unit of measurement for an area. This represents the amount of space within a flat surface, and can be calculated by multiplying the length of a space by its width. Example: If you driveway is 20 feet by 24 feet, the area for leaf removal would be 20 * 24 = 480 square feet.
What is Vertical Square Feet?
Mark as “0” if it is not applicable for your needs. Vertical square footage refers to the area of surfaces that are not horizontal, such as walls or the sides of buildings. Like flat square footage, it’s calculated by multiplying the height by the width of the vertical surface. Example: For a simple one-story house with walls that are 8 feet high and 30 feet long on each of the four sides, you calculate vertical square footage like this: 8 (height) * 30 (length) * 4 (sides) = 960 vertical square feet. However, this doesn’t account for doors, windows, etc., so you might need to adjust for those.
What is a Story?
A story is a single floor level within your home or building. One that people can stand and walk on. This will not be relevant if the surface that needs to be pressure washed is not vertical.
What is Soil Level?
Soil level refers to the degree of dirt, grime, or staining on the surface to be cleaned. It can be categorized as: Light: Minimal dirt or stains, requiring less cleaning effort. Medium: Moderate buildup of dirt or stains, which might need more time or effort to clean. Heavy: Significant accumulation of dirt, mold, mildew, or stains, requiring intensive cleaning.
Why Schedule Pressure Washing?
Pressure washing revitalizes the exterior of your property by removing mold, mildew, dirt, and other stains. It can extend the life of materials like siding, decks, and driveways by preventing degradation from embedded dirt or biological growth, enhancing curb appeal, and possibly increasing property value.
Leaf Removal
What is Square Feet?
Square footage is a unit of measurement for an area. This represents the amount of space within a flat surface, and can be calculated by multiplying the length of a space by its width. Example: If your backyard is 50 feet by 30 feet, the area for leaf removal would be 50 * 30 = 1,500 square feet.
What is Leaf Coverage?
Leaf Coverage is the level of coverage for a given space or lot. This choice should be reasonable based on the amount of leaves covering your property. Example: A yard with barely visible grass would be considered Heavy Leaf Coverage.
Why Schedule Leaf Removal?
Leaf removal prevents damage to your lawn and garden by avoiding the smothering of grass and plants which can lead to disease and decay. It also keeps your yard looking neat, reduces pest habitats, and prevents drainage issues that can occur when leaves clog gutters and drains.
Trash Bin Cleaning
What is Trash Bin Cleaning?
Trash bin cleaning is the process of washing out your trash bins to remove any pests, grime, or bad smells from your trash can. This is a fairly quick service that makes it much more bearable to take out and take down your trash cans. Example: Think of your trash bin after several weeks of use – it’s likely covered in residue, smells bad, and might attract pests. Cleaning involves using high-pressure water and specialized cleaning solutions to scrub away the grime, making the bin clean and odor-free.
Why Schedule Trash Bin Cleaning?
Cleaning your trash bins removes odors, reduces pest problems like flies and rodents, and maintains hygiene. It prevents the spread of bacteria and other pathogens, making your waste management area cleaner and more pleasant to deal with.
Chimney Cleaning
What is my type of fireplace?
Your fireplace type affects the cleaning process. Here are common types: Gas: A fireplace that uses natural gas or propane, often with logs or stones for aesthetics, requiring minimal soot cleanup. Pellet Stove: A stove that burns compressed wood pellets, needing regular ash removal. Wood Stove: A stove that burns wood logs, producing more creosote buildup. Wood Burning Fireplace: A traditional open fireplace that burns wood, leading to significant soot and creosote accumulation. Example: If you have a traditional fireplace with an open hearth, you have a Wood Burning Fireplace.
What is Soil Level?
Soil Level refers to the degree of soot, creosote, or debris buildup in your chimney. It can be categorized as: Light: Minimal soot or ash, requiring a quick sweep. Medium: Moderate creosote buildup, needing standard cleaning tools. Heavy: Thick creosote layers or blockages, requiring intensive cleaning to ensure safety. Example: A chimney used frequently throughout winter with visible black buildup would be considered Heavy Soil Level.
What is a designated cleanout?
A designated cleanout is a specific access point in your chimney system designed for cleaning and maintenance. It allows professionals to remove soot, ash, and debris without spreading mess inside your home. It’s usually located at the base of the chimney, often in the basement or an exterior wall, and has a small door or cap for easy access. Example: In a two-story home, the cleanout might be a metal door at the bottom of the chimney stack in the basement.
Why Schedule Chimney Cleaning?
Regular chimney cleaning prevents dangerous creosote buildup, reducing the risk of chimney fires and carbon monoxide exposure. It ensures proper ventilation for safe, cozy fires, improves heating efficiency, and extends the lifespan of your chimney by preventing damage from soot and debris.
